The Publication of BEAM Plus New Buildings Version 2.0 (2023 Edition)
BEAM Society Limited (BSL) is pleased to announce the official publication of BEAM Plus New Buildings Version 2.0 (2023 Edition) (NB v2.0 – 2023 Edition).
In view of the Buildings Department’s latest update on the PNAP APP-151 (https://www.bd.gov.hk/doc/en/resources/codes-and-references/practice-notes-and-circular-letters/pnap/APP/APP151.pdf), BSL has introduced an optional Compliance Assessment (CA) route to facilitate the industry in meeting the APP-151 requirements for their OP application.
To enhance the clarity of the BEAM Plus assessment, the NB v2.0 Manual is being updated from 2021 Edition to 2023 Edition to incorporate all the interpretation on the assessment criteria published through the Technical Circular letters and FAQs to date since the launch of the NB v2.0 Manual (i.e. from 4 September 2019 to 31 October 2023).
The BEAM Plus New Buildings Version 2.0 Manual (2023 Edition) will come into effect on the same date of this e-News.
